But I never hear about parent seminars to address these issues. I have been teaching in middle school since retirement from the business world. I am very dissappointed in the students I see. I teach in a title one school by choice. I cannot inspire "HOPE" in a student for 55 minutes a day if it is not re-inforced once he leaves my classroom. It is very difficult to teach values when the student is getting a free lunch while wearing about $300 in clothes, jewlry, and sneakers. "HOPE" has to spread beyond Washington. I am looking forward to Dr. Muhammad's one day intensive training on April 18th in Tampa, Fl.
