Durce Muhammad has served as an educator in the public school system for 10 years. Mr. Muhammad has been an administrator in the Texas Charter School system for over 5 years. As assistant principal and later assistant to the superintendent, Mr. Muhammad implemented programs and policies that reduced discipline problems and improved overall school safety. He has also garnered respect from his peers on his thorough knowledge of dealing with urban learners and at-risk youth in particular the different learning styles that are attributed to the 21st century student.
His presentations are dynamic and informative. Participants receive very practical and timely methods to be the best educators for their students and their schools. Mr. Muhammad believes that “Education is Power” and looks forward to the day when all students, young and old, can come out of darkness and come into the light that education provides.
